In her professional career, Anne serves as an IT Executive in higher education, with prior experience in consulting and Fortune 100 technology firms.

Tawny Biggs is a seasoned nonprofit leader with a deep-rooted passion for public service, animal welfare, and community resilience. Tawny has served as Director of Operations for The Sparta Project, a veteran-focused nonprofit providing intensive retreats for first responders and military personnel living with PTSD. With a

Tawny Biggs is a seasoned nonprofit leader with a deep-rooted passion for public service, animal welfare, and community resilience. Tawny has served as Director of Operations for The Sparta Project, a veteran-focused nonprofit providing intensive retreats for first responders and military personnel living with PTSD. With a background in healthcare credentialing and benefits administration, Tawny has held senior-level roles overseeing complex systems, managing multidisciplinary teams, and streamlining operational processes.
Secretary
Kim Maurer has been riding horses for 15 years as a hunter/jumper enthusiast. She competes in Nevada and California, jumping at a height of 1.4 meters. Kim has served on the mounted unit for over two years, training several different horses from draft to off-track thoroughbred. She works as a strategic sales and marketing professional with extensive experience in channel distribution.
Directors shall uphold the principles of honesty, integrity, and transparency, and maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information.
Directors shall actively participate in governance, informing themselves of the pros and cons of any decision, and exercising the same level of care and diligence as a prudent person would in their own affairs.
Directors shall prioritize the organization's interests above their own or those of any other entity and ensure proper use of organizational assets and resources.
Directors shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and bylaws, and must ensure the organization adheres to its mission, applicable laws and regulations, and bylaws.
